Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. In 1956, she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway along with Li'l abner. That same year, she made her debut album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge hit and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her work between Broadway television and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as opposed to her perception of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
